Happy Thanksgiving

It's Christmas and Hanukah time again. The stores are full of Josh Grobin's great new "Noel" album and it's put me in the mood to buy.

One gift you might consider giving to friends and family is a signed copy of your book. It sounds self-serving, perhaps. But, I don't think it is. Not in the long run. It's something you can give from you. Something that comes from your heart.

My contest has started. The questions are up on Author Island, and i've gotten my first entry. that's always an exciting time. There's a wonderful feeling inside when someone answers your questions and you can tell they've actually read your prologue. So, folks go on and enter. You'll get a signed copy of the book and a really neat horse candle. Life can be good.

I hope all of you have a wonderful Thanksgiving. If you really luck out, you might have an hour or two to curl up with a good book and sip a favorite beverage.

Pat from her Cottage of Blog, where the coffee's almost gone, and the last of the blueberry muffins popped into the mouth of Zuri who's learned to sneak lately.
