Good monday morning at the Cottage of Blog, whether you're at this cottage or over at My Space Cottage. The sun is shining. It's cold, but the heater works.
Pull up an arm chair, have some virtual coffee and a blueberry muffin and lets have some pre-work chat. Yes, that's right. Pre-work chat. After all this is writing, right? It is getting my mind into the writing mode, right?
Life is good.
yesterday, I was on blogtalkradio. First time radio guest. I was nervous. Pacing the floor for an hour before my time slot. Then, another guest didn't show, so I was asked to do her time slot too. Ms Regan Taylor made my life as fun and giggly and pointed out all the poignant spots the two books have to offer. I talked about In the Arms of the Enemy and Waterlilies Over My Grave. She has a great sense of what to pull out of a guest and even more, putting them at ease. Way to go Ms. Regan. I hope you invite me on again.
This week, I'm working on a trailer for Waterlilies Over My Grave. It's coming out soon, so the time is right for trailer. I've never done one of these before. There is a movie making program bundled with the Windows XP that sets it up for you and all you have to do is plug in the videos, pictures and music. All you have to do-- Well, that doesn't include finding the right pictures and finding the right music.
I will probably also be working with Nikki Leigh helping to get our Virtual Blog Tour together. The questions the different blogs have come up with are a diverse as they are similar. I can't wait to start.
what do I want to accomplish? First and foremost, of course, is book sales. What every author and publisher wants. Second is name recognition so that people will remember me and pick up my next book. Third, and this includes the first and second, a wonderful chance to network and to meet new people from all over. We're doing a blog in New Zealand and one in South American. How interesting can you get?
As soon as I get my full schedule I'll post it here, on my website and on My Space Cottage.
Is it true that our cell phones will no longer be valid after this week? In my groggy state, I think I heard that this morning. Oh No! What will I do without my seven-year-old Nokia?
I'm going to start playing around with my trailer. I hope everyone has a great and productive day.
Pat who would like comments.
