Good morning world. It's a glorious day. Yep, they say the temperature should rise to the low 70's. THAT I can live with.

So, pull up a porch chair. Today we'll sit on the porch staring at the lake and discussing writing, horses, life, love and anything you want.

I wish some of you would respond. Just saying "hi" would be response enough. It's like sitting across from a ghost. I know you're there--the counter tells on you. I just don't know what you're thinking. If you want to pass on a short story, please do.

I thought you might like to see a photo of Jackson's grown brother. I received his
photo from two years ago and now, he looks like a different horse. Before, he looked like Dale Evan's Buttermilk, now he looks exactly like Jackson. Wow.

But that's not the horse I REALLY want you to see, I send that off after the close of this post.

WRITING: I'm taking a slight hiatus. I was on the fence between finishing Legacy and writing a new one. Back in January, my publisher wanted me to outline a plot that evolved around a mystery (she loved the horse angle) Not a romance like Arms was a romantic suspense, but a mystery that delved deep into the souls of the people I portrayed. I've been doing some research. Real research. Going places, meeting people, discussing issues important to the horse community. I've outline and formed a synopsis of the plot and did a character study of the characters. I don't love them yet, but I think I will. It's coming. It's evolving. I hope to have the first draft done in a couple of months.

then the endless stream of rewrites, edits and re-edits.

What are you all doing?

Above this post, above the photo of Jackson's brother is a horse I'd like you all to see.

Have another blueberry muffin and tell me why the world is in such a mess.

Cheers
