NEWS:

For all you horse lovers out there, I just learned that Illinois will have a new rescue facility for abandoned and abused horses. They don't have a permanent location yet. You can go to their webite to see what they're up to.

NEXT NEWS:

For all you dog lovers out there. The American Kennel club (AKC) is making changes in its obedience trial rules. According the Paw Power Blues Dog Club (I belong to this great club in Lowell, Indiana) :

https://www.akc.org/pdfs/events/obedience/OACv2.pdf

Here are the highlights:

I. In UTILITY classes, all dogs will use the same number gloves. (there are three. The handler signals the dog to take the glove the judge requests) Now, all contestants will use the same glove.

2. In STAND FOR EXAM Judges will not handle the dog's tail. If I were a dog, I wouldn't want my tail handled either. LOL

3. Dog can earn their titles under two rather than three judges. (that makes it easier if you're at a weekend show and the club uses the same judgeds for each show.

If you want to learn mre, check the AKC website. PS It might be http:// rather than https as it states above.
