Battling Cancer Posted from Facebook by Linda Daly
This came from a lady who has known the tragedy of losing loved ones to that diabolical disease Cancer. That small paragraph made me see life in a whole new light. Hope it can do that for you, too.
Battling cancer? My wife 'won' rounds 1 and 2 back in the 1980s but lost in 2008. She had had a rough time before I knew her, and her legs grew weaker. When oedema occured her skin started splitting and her morale went once she couldn't make it to her wheelchair and hence the lavatory. If we are honest it wasn't the cancer that killed her - but the futility of staying alive in that condition. But still we had 20 years extra. The dog, a nine year old, moped for a bit and then he gave up, too.

WOW, that was powerful! As a cancer survivor, I can totally relate and thanks for the reminder to keep our priorities in order.
You are awesome, Sandra, for battling something as
insidious as Cancer and winning. My hat is off to you.
